Eulophoria Eulophoria

Download (Windows) game as ZIP archive
Walkthrough (mp4 video) by IkeTheLord3

Eulophoria was a strange, surreal game I made in 2013 for the Game Maker Community Jam #5. The theme of the jam was "facade".

The instructions are simple: move with the arrow keys and use the "Z" key to complete an action. Completion of the game is possible. Upon completion, the application will exit automatically. There are two possible endings.

I don't want to give too much away by describing this game in detail. It was influenced by a 1997 text-based ZZT game called Kudzu, as well as foggy memories of dreams and nightmares. It's deliberately cryptic. There's more to the game than first meets the eye. There is no music.

On this page there is a downloadable copy of this game, created in one of the early versions of Game Maker. I'm also including a helpful walkthrough by a YouTuber.

This game contains some dark/disturbing elements and may not be appropriate for children.
