"Blob Story" was a game I developed in late 2011 to early 2012. I made it when I was living in Dover, New Hampshire. Although I had fiddled with game development before, I wanted to make a game that was somewhat long and polished. I had an idea of an amorphous blob for a character, finding its way around puzzles with a family of other-colored globules.

It was super fun to make. I went to a cafe with my laptop most days and worked on it for an hour or two at a time. The graphics were rendered in Bryce, which was a chance for me to show off my skills in that software. The music was some of the first I wrote in Cubase, using the HalionOne VST.

This game really makes me nostalgic. I had a great time that year and playing this brings me back. It's still something I'm proud of. I think the soundtrack holds up, and although the game's not good enough for Steam or anything like that you can tell I put a lot of care into it.
